Yes. Hormone changes affect IBS big time. As I'm getting older, I find that belly pain, nauseous, diarrhea, and migraines get worse during hormone changes. It is not fun and it is not in your head either.

@A myIBSteam Member I seem to have trouble then as well ... my pain consist in the area above my belly button and right flank pain .

Absolutely! I have a flare up every month one or two weeks before period, along with reflux. It's terrible! I haven't found anything to be helpful except time.
