IBS-D: What Is Your Tell Tale Sign An Attack Is Coming?
A myIBSteam Member asked a question πŸ’

Aside from the obvious cramping, do you experience "signs" that you're about to have a bad attack?

I've always been able to tell if a really bad flare up is on the horizon. I start to feel nauseated. I've not actually vomited with the bad attacks (yet..) but they leave me super nauseous and absolutely wiped. Anyone else?

The roof of my mouth gets real sore and gets this purple red spot on my hard plate in the top of my mouth and sometime I will look like I am 9 months pregnate before a flareup

I feel really nauseated too (never sick either but can be really overwhelming at times). That's the sign for me. I don't get bloating or cramps just nausea and loose stools then. No IBS medication helps me as it's more nausea I experience and have no idea what I'm eating that causes it!

I have no warning!! Just comes and hopefully I'm home. If not it is mortifying and a fast run home.
