I tend to get loose stool when my period comes and the rest of the month I am constipated

I'm the same . I'm actually getting the mirena coil in next week to see will it control things. I hate the week before my period pain so bad.

Despite that I'm having flare ups almost all day lond these last couple of months yes my period is trriger for my IBS, it gets unbearable.

I have flairs ups all the time
