Pale Poop
A myIBSteam Member asked a question 💭

I have IBS. It was once constipation, but over the last few years, it's more on the diarrhea end. Last weekend, I indulged in gluten and dairy, which I normally do not. I have had diarrhea and cramps since Monday, and today I went and went and went and my last stool was a much paler color, like really faint brown. Has anyone experiences this? If you google pale poop, you get things like "see doctor immediately".

Hi pale poop. Pale poop I had also. Can be caused by parasites like giardia in your drinking water. It can also mean your liver isn't working efficiently. I have fatty liver. It could also be from not enough biliruben. Good luck

Hi pale poop. You could also have EPI. IT means your pancreas is not producing enough enzymes to break down your food. Many people who are obese have EPI. Especially if you have fatty liver and no GB as well. Fatty liver and no GB means your body may not be able to digest food well. Lose weight and don't eat butter dairy. Use olive oil and coconut oil for cooking
