Has anyone done bowel retraining for loss of bowel control or constipation? If so, what are some tricks you recommend?

Most times, after moving my bowels I have the constant feeling of still having to go. I do go a lot but it takes many bowel movements until the feeling goes away. It is miserable. I am happiest on days when I don’t go at all!
Can anyone else identify with this and is there anything that helps. Thanks.

Have had colostomy with reversal several years ago. Also, several other stomach issues throughout my adult lifetime.

I suffer from IBS and unfortunately so does my 26 year old daughter and my 5 year old grandson.We find that food is the biggest trigger.. I was wondering if anyone has had an impacted bowel caused by the foods you have ate? Just had the most painful poop ever... as I was sitting on the pot, I got some wicked spams in my legs and thighs. It stopped after I stood up and screamed in pain... what the hell was that?! My bowel movements were liquid... anyone else get those?? what the hell is that?

Hi everyone I’m getting depressed lately. My Dr.has started me on high blood pressure medication. And my bowels only function once every two weeks I’m tired and get sleepless nights. Does anyone take high blood pressure medication that does not constipate them?
