Hi everyone I’m getting depressed lately. My Dr.has started me on high blood pressure medication. And my bowels only function once every two weeks I’m tired and get sleepless nights. Does anyone take high blood pressure medication that does not constipate them?

Has anyone else been diagnosed with SIBO? I've rarely seen it mention when researching IBS, but the new doctor I went to yesterday suggested a modified fodmap diet that eliminates additional foods to address it. You can get tested for SIBO but I decided to just start treatment right away without confirmation of the test, because I am so desperate to feel better.
I think I heard somewhere that you should not use probiotics when you have SIBO but I am not 100% sure.A pharmacist would be able to give you the correct answer ! ❤️
My old GP diagnosed me 10 years ago with IBS but i never knew i should have seen a specialist until now. I'm just wondering how many more out there haven't seen a specialist

When putting cholestyramine in orange juice does it have a chaulky taste?Cause when I mixed this medicine in Welch’s strawberry kiwi juice it was super chaulky I was put on this for serve ibs-d pleases help

I was just wondering does anyone experience body aches and fatigue with IBS? Last night after I went to sleep I started having body aches and was like NO!! I can.t get sick... I did have a flare up yesterday and it when on all day and apparently through the night with the aches and then this morning too. I've been on a light diet since yesterday. Just curious if body aches is normal. I feel so sleepy and run down
Lately I have been having lower back pains when I have major attacks. Looking forward to getting home and seeing my doctors and get answers.

I take the same medication and always have gas too. I don’t know why they don’t make medicine for IBS-D
Since I was prescribed Viberzi about a year ago, my life has been so much better. It works for me almost 100% of the time. I love it. I can go to the mall, to a restaurant and have almost no problems. It’s the best med that has worked for me. At first it wasn’t covered by my insurance but I was given a discount so it was doable. Now, the price has gone up to $525.00 a month. I can’t afford that. I am on SS and Medicare. My wonderful doctor has been supplying me with free samples… read more
I just wanted to add that Viberzi worked for the first few days and I thought we had the answer for my IBS-D. I ended in the hospital for 8 days with pancreatitis. It was awful.
I was having a very bad Attack this passed Sunday and I am looking for new over the counter Medicine or a new medicine that my doctor can give me any ideas?
I take buscopan when mine flares up and take 2, 3x a daycan take a day to work but kicks in eventually. I am also on amitriptyline (which is a antidepressant) which has helped me alot as they help… read more
