Your body builds a quick tolerance to bentyl I think it's safe..ish... you should talk to a pharmacist and call your GI about your dosing.. maybe they can bump up the strength or give you something else .. I take hysocamine. 375 mg it's an extended release and I take 1 in the morning before I eat anything ( wait usually an hour) and I have a .125 mg dissolveable when I need to but since I've gone gluten free my symptoms have significantly reduced. I still have bad days but not nearly as bad and painful as it was. Have you been tested for celiac disease ?
