I always get "Eat more fiber" and "Take probiotics". I do but it hasn't changed the symptoms of extreme pain and diarrhea. I have been diagnosed with Severe IBS and also hypersensitive nerve endings in the intestinal tract and bowels. This as well as food allergies which I am very careful to avoid.

I have been getting a few attacks lately, but I think most of it is due to stress. Trying to keep my stress levels down, and avoid another attack is not easy...

I am always told how good I look and how skinny I look. Don't they get it? I don't want to weigh 89 pounds; and I certainly don't do it on purpose. "Oh, I wish I had your body." And the other one I can't stand is "I could eat anything I want and not worry about it." These comments drive me crazy. I would prefer that no one says anything as opposed to hearing these words.

I just ignore them now.Unless you have IBS people have minimal understanding how it can run your life.I have lived with it for 45 years. It is a frustrating chronic disorder which stops me doing so many things I want to do.But I count myself fortunate that it is not life threatening.Day by day, folks😈

When I am real bad people will say why would u eat that if u know it would cause so much pain. I don't know when I am eating somethings that it is going to upset me. Get no sympathy from most people think u brought it on yourself .
