Thank you,the worst seems to be over,I think it was a reaction to having antibiotics for an abscess followed by a nasty stomach bug.

Back when my IBS was really bad and I didn't know what would trigger an attack because everything did, yea I had a white yellowish coating on my tongue. My bottom teeth had a tartar build up because of it. Finally going to the hygienist to sort it out as the symptoms has improved dramatically over the last two years since I stopped eating meat and tried to cut out the gluten.

15 years..maybe time for a review? I seem to have a lot of medication,and do wonder sometimes if they are ok together.

ChristineGilson I take 20mg every morning and have done for 15 yrs and they are not bothered what we take? But to be fair its excruciating at its worst what else can you do I started on h2 inhibitors they stopped working the next step ppi's I'm not going to get anxious about it as I couldn't cope without them. Yes that worried me too CatherineReynard...don't get too anxious though! I think maybe we shouldn't be taking them long term? I take them before breakfast but often forget the other times. The main problem I had was the hoarse voice.
