this is so embarrassing but I get severe rectal burning while going to the bathroom and for the whole rest of the day and afterwords does any one else experience this? its awful and painful ! atm my stomachs in nots so suffering a flare so gta keep using loo but my rectum also swells up terribly any ideas to help this or what it is? thank you x
After reading this, I went out & got zinc oxide ointment (Desitin). It really helps!
Get your Doctor to prescribe Ultraproct Ointment and smear it around your anus after going to the loo.The burning is caused by the Bowel contents particularly when you have diarrhoea.It contains digestive juices.Also constant Bowel motions flare haemorrhoids so using a haemorrhoid ointment does stop the burning.It contains a local anaesthetic.
I use Preparation H or a hydrocortisone cream. Both work for me.
I get that a lot it's horrible just wish there was a cure for i b s my doctor is hopeless have told her before and she just ignores it it took me 9months for her to refer me to a specialist for another problem god only knows how long it would take for this I dread going on holiday because of how my bowel behaves
