I tried that one day and now I am just writing down when I do. I take a stool softner too.gluten free helped me a hew years ago. I lose 20 lbs.

I will not get into those laxative and imodium routines I will continue trying diet changes . I am scheduled for a colonoscopy on Feb 5th .

Linzess did not work for me. Took as directed in the morning and 25-30 min later I had severe diarrea. Stayed on it for about two weeks but stopped taking it due to my job as a truck driver. Can’t find a bathroom when you need one the most.
I went in for a colonoscopy this past December and my Dr. said I just had IBS. So he tells me to take Miralax twice daily and because I have a hiatal hernia, he also prescribed me to take omneprazol 40mg twice daily.
I think there are better options out there then these horrible meds.

My doctor told me not to take anything to stop the diarrhea because it would mess me up! Maintain your symptoms with diet...research the thing's your doctor says you have...thats very helpful! Don't be afraid to ask thats what we are here for....!
