Just wondering if anyone gets disability money for IBS. Why is it not classed as a disability? It stops me from doing things and i am worried when i do get a job it is going to get in the way especially when i have to phone in sick most days because i can't leave the toilet

Not here in Ireland you don't. It's classed as an invisible disease and therefore people with it are suppose to b able to go to work. Docs here say it can b kept under control with proper serious diet and proper exercise. Clearly them docs don't suffer with it

I have heard you can opt out of jury duty for having IBS. I don't know if this is true or not it is just what I have heard.
