Any Undergarments Available In Case Of Diarrhea
A myIBSteam Member asked a question 💭

I am to the point that I'm afraid to go out anywhere in case of an IBS flare-up. I know there are products like Depends for urinary incontinence but is there anything for those of us with IBS problems, fecal incontinence?

I suffered with the diarrhea also. No garment is specifically made for this but I used a depends. it contains the issue!. To take it off and not really make a mess, tear it at the sides of the panty. there is a seam there that I found helpful.
I always carry extra diapers wipes and underwear. also plastic bag. I have many accidents and it is the worst. Some places I would not return to because of my problem. I hear your paid.
Now I have severe constipation. Can't win.

I am unsure of what products are available. Will Depends work for both urine and feces? I-wonder if a nursing home or hospital may have an idea of what products help with this?

I always carry extra pads with me. I worry about it all the time. Doesn't happen often. But still very embarrassing to deal with.

Thanks - I'm having a problem this week and had an accident at home. I guess Depends is on my shopping list.
