As someone mentioned, the prep that you need to do the day before a colonoscopy is by far the worst part of things. The actual colonoscopy is no big deal. As part of the prep, I was told to take four Dulcolax tablets in addition to drinking another preparation. I had a severe reaction to the Dulcolax and had major migraines and nausea for 20 hours. I’ll never take Dulcolax again. I’m sure many people can take Dulcolax with no significant problems, and not all doctors prescribe Dulcolax as part of the prep. But again, the actual colonoscopy procedure is like taking a nap and it’s over.

Endo is quick and colonoscopy is about 30 minutes. You will be given anesthesia to relax you.
