I have had IBS-C my whole life ( 56 yrs), in the past year I've started having symptoms of Levator Syndrome??. Last week I had a severe episode except the pain spread across my lower abdomen and up my left side and radiated to my back. The pain lasted for 3 days and finally by like the 5th day i could sit on a chair again without the pain shooting through my intestines. Is this common for IBS?
No gallbladder
Hi Teri, if you have no GB, the pain is typically in the large colon. It is more sensitive to poo and I get it
EPI?
Hi Teri. I would get an MRI. Check your stool sample and blood for EPI. TO see if your pancreas is breaking down your food with enough enzymes. Do u have a GB? Or fatty liver? Pale poop? I get stabbing pains in my large intestine due to having no GB. I don't know your weight but obese people frequently have EPI.
Yes I have
