I'm looking recommendations on a good probiotic to take for IBS.

Has anyone else been diagnosed with SIBO? I've rarely seen it mention when researching IBS, but the new doctor I went to yesterday suggested a modified fodmap diet that eliminates additional foods to address it. You can get tested for SIBO but I decided to just start treatment right away without confirmation of the test, because I am so desperate to feel better.

Since I was prescribed Viberzi about a year ago, my life has been so much better. It works for me almost 100% of the time. I love it. I can go to the mall, to a restaurant and have almost no problems. It’s the best med that has worked for me. At first it wasn’t covered by my insurance but I was given a discount so it was doable. My friend who is a nutritionist suggested Activated Charcoal and eliminate carbs and sugar for awhile. Her daughter has ulcerative colitis and goes to an alternative dr.
What are any other suggestions.

I was having a very bad Attack this passed Sunday and I am looking for new over the counter Medicine or a new medicine that my doctor can give me any ideas?

Is it safe to take more than 4 a day?

I have been struggling more than normal these past few months! I just can't seem to get on top of these symptoms. Try are hitting me at all hours and unexpectedly.
