I'm wondering what do some of my fellow followers do for the pain and discomfort that comes along with an IBs flare up? What medicine have you tried and what medicine has your doctor given you? Is there anything I can do the pain, discomfort? And anything to help ease my stomach? Any advice is greatly appreciate. Thanks you guys...

Members shared practical strategies for managing IBS flare-up pain, with the most common recommendation being heat therapy through hot water bottles, heating pads, or warm baths to reduce pain and bloating. Several members found relief through medications like Bentyl (taken at the onset of pain) and peppermint oil tablets (such as Mintec), while others turned to warm digestive teas like Yogi Stomach Ease or Ginger with Lemon for intense discomfort. A recurring theme was the importance of finding what works for your individual body, whether through over-the-counter remedies, prescription medications, or soothing home comfort measures during difficult flare-ups.
