I have acid reflux and am concerned the peppermint capsules could make it worse. I have read that they work for some folks here. Are they used to treat diarrhea or constipation ?

I started taking peppermint oil capsules last week. I think they have helped the cold I have had not breaking out into a bad one. I did have a bad tummy last Thursday morning and i took one and felt better after about half an hour. I have had some diarrhoea but i think the peppermint oil capsules may be helping it improve a little.
