Hi, i googled Pepto Bismol for IBS and it said it was effective for diarrhea but not for the pain . I have just taken it as I was desperate to see what calming effects it has. If it works , I will take Buscopan for the pain a few hours later.

My concern would be that it would kill the beneficial bacteria in the colon, as well as the bad. Prayers
