Hi IBS. Best to fast for a day. Allows gut to restore itself. Avoid fast food. Greasy and salty

What I found is that you have to get in the habit of not going too long without eating. If I skip meals and do a big meal it will just knock me off my feet. Daily light exercise and stretching go a long way as well. When I get backed up exercise helps me go to the washroom. Take away, small meals in consistent intervals (even if it hurts) and exercise (even if it hurts) eventually it wont. Good luck.

I live on my heating pad except right now as our temps are between 100-111. And I can't afford a high electric bill so keep the temp at between 80-83.

Heating pad often helps me. I have always considered the belly pain I have after a bout is actually bruising from the cramping and dry heaves. I too cannot even drink water or take my meds due to the pain. Sorry I cannot offer any other suggestions.

I use heating pad on my lower abdomin when I have cramps and drink lots of water! It seems to help. I take the generic for lomotil 3 to 4 times a day to help with my diarrehia. Sendings hugs, hope you feel better.

I take Zofran for nasousness. It helps! Yeah, my stomach gets very angry when I eat too much & too fast. Small meals throughout day is my GI advise. Hope you start to feel better soon.
