When I had my gallbladder removed earlier this year, it took a couple of months for my bowels to straighten out but now my bms are pretty regular, no constipation or diarrhea. Very soft regular stools, and every day not once or twice a week like before.

Hi there
I had my gallbladder taken out years ago and my stomach has never been the same or my bowels. It was shortly after I started getting IBs-D. I don’t care what anyone says I think there is definitely a connection between the two. Bile salts may help break down food since your gallbladder used to do that for you. Something to consider…I find so many things to consider it’s all about trail and error and so far I haven’t found my relief yet 😢
I've already had it out
Hi Kylie. My advice would be not to take your GB out. You might get diarrhea gas cramps. I did and I'm on pain pills for the rest of my life. Colestipol binds with bile to prevent diarrhea
