Has Anyone Been Prescribed Cholestyramine Powder?

Has Anyone Been Prescribed Cholestyramine Powder?

I have been taking this daily since April 22nd to help me with diarrhea. So far, it doesn't seem to help. If anything, I'm experiencing more abdominal gas and cramping. I was told to take it once daily. Today is May 16th and I'm waiting for a call back from my gastrointestinal Dr. Anyone have any feedback to offer? Ty!

Here in the uk I don’t have a doctor specifically for my diverticulosis. I manage the pain
with Ibubrofen.

I've been taking it for about 9 months. I take it twice a day. In the morning and at night. I've had pretty good luck with it. The only time I have diarrhea problems is when I eat dairy products or spicy food. Also if I eat a large meal.
