Chronic Recurring Constipation
A myIBSteam Member asked a question 💭

I was diagnosed with IBS in my 20's (I am 58). In the past several months, I get constipated constantly. It's quite uncomfortable, and can days for me to fully empty. I feel nauseous and blocked and sometimes have pain in my left side. Sometimes things will loosen up, thrn the process repeats itself. My last conoscopy they said I have a tortued colon. I am due another procedure in December. I am worried this is something serious. Anyone experience this?

I use miralax in my morning coffee for my constipation and also drink pasteurized apple cider at supper.

Hi, I was diagnosed at 18 and I am 59 now and I have the same thing. I developed IBS with constipation so I take IBSrella. IBS for so many years can make the descending colon twist and weak it's very common.
