Lomtil or Co Phenodrone is the only thing that really helps bad IBS Day days, but it is no longer available in the UK. Loperamide is not enough on bad days and although Codeine helps I don't want to use it during the day or become dependent on it . Any suggestions?

My Dr seems to think it's the medication. It's very debilitating. I'm afraid to do anything. It gets worse as the day goes on. By like 3 I have to stay seated. Just wondering if anyone else has had any head issues.

I was having a very bad Attack this passed Sunday and I am looking for new over the counter Medicine or a new medicine that my doctor can give me any ideas?

Any medical professionals out there know jd that would be an appropriate treatment plan if nothing else is working or that I am able to take? My GI is talking about putting me back on steroids to manage this because I have those days I feel like I'm at the starting line and it's incredibly frustrating.

I’ve been like this for many years but it’s getting much worse as I’ve got older, I’m now 68 yrs. & have had many accidents during this time. I’m at my wits end as this is controlling my life. I am otherwise fit & healthy
