What To Do Next??

What To Do Next??

I am at a bit of a loss here. I have been on this "investigation" of why my stomach sucks for the last 2 years but have suffered silently for the last 15 years.

I have had an endoscopy done a year and a half ago. This revealed a hernia in my stomach. There was not much mentioned to me about this, if it was of any cause for concern or how to manage any symptoms that I am having that could be related to it.

Does Anyone Experience Little "bursts" In Their Stomach?

Does Anyone Experience Little "bursts" In Their Stomach?

It's kind of hard to explain, but throughout the day I'll get these little "bursts" on the right side of my abdomen that sound like little farts, for lack of better words, coming from inside my abdomen. My PCD thinks it's trapped gas, but I'm not sure. She doesn't want to do any scans so as not to subject me to anymore… read more

Has Anyone Else Tried The Low-FODMAP Diet For IBS-C (NOT IBS-D)? If So, How Did It Go For You??

Has Anyone Else Tried The Low-FODMAP Diet For IBS-C (NOT IBS-D)? If So, How Did It Go For You??

The diet seems to be really geared towards IBS-D especially from what I can tell. I know when I first tried doing it it helped the bloating, but made everything else worse, because I was following all the low fiber (and often pretty heavy) recipes on Pinterest... not great for constipation or someone whose gut is triggered by heavy foods. Combining the low-FODMAP diet (modified with what I know I can handle based on the reintroduction phase) with a more personally "constipation friendly" diet… read more
