I just recently started taking a good strong probiotic and peppermint oil caps. Has anyone else had any luck with doing this for their IBS-D?

To prevent heartburn with the peppermint oil caps, I always take them on an empty stomach, and don't eat anything for at least 30 minutes. Hope and prayers

Instead of the gelcaps, you can try really strong Peppermint tea or fennel tea. Both are very good for bloating. I have been taking a probiotic since 2012. It's just a good thing to do for the flora in your intestines. Keeps it balanced. Google the uses for probiotics & you can read about it.
