Hi everyone I’m getting depressed lately. My Dr.has started me on high blood pressure medication. And my bowels only function once every two weeks I’m tired and get sleepless nights. Does anyone take high blood pressure medication that does not constipate them?

I was diagnosed with IBS over 30 yrs ago. I will vomit quite a bit during my attack. It will seemed blocked at first. Then the vomiting comes, sometimes before I have a break through (explosion) and sometimes during going. After what I call my attack I’m so depleted and weak, I have nothing left in me. I was just wondering does anyone experience body aches and fatigue with IBS? Last night after I went to sleep I started having body aches and was like NO!! I can.t get sick... I did have a flare up yesterday and it when on all day and apparently through the night with the aches and then this morning too. I've been on a light diet since yesterday. Just curious if body aches is normal. I feel so sleepy and run down

So I have decided I am sick of the stomach pain, nausea, throwing up, and the other end issues. With no help from the dr’s. I finally am going to start giving up gluten and see if that helps eat a little better, and cleaner. More veggies that kind of stuff. Is there anything that others have tried that has helped, vitamins giving up certain things? Any help or incite would be very appreciated.. thank you

Lomtil or Co Phenodrone is the only thing that really helps bad IBS Day days, but it is no longer available in the UK. Loperamide is not enough on bad days and although Codeine helps I don't want to use it during the day or become dependent on it . Any suggestions?

I haven’t been diagnosed but the symptoms I’m experiencing relate to IBS. Every now and the. I get cramps in my lower right abdominal area. Sometimes they can hurt but they are painful. Sometimes I want to curl up in a ball and sometimes I can go about daily stuff. My diet is vegan & I drink lots of water. I’ve always had issues with my guts since I was little. I was diagnosed with peri-menopause and the last couple months have been brutal. I've missed work because of my migraines and nothing slows the IBS down at all. I get very down sometimes with this because it is an unseen disease. And if you don't have it others don't understand what you go through. I can be fine for a week and then bam. Episodes are horrible.

I was in out of hospital for a year with stays in oatient for weeks..finally after everytest possiabke .they diag with chronic ibs d and c if i worked i would have missed everyday excwpt may 3 days out of a month. But does.anyone else get a flare and wake up runing to bathroom and volentt vomiting?
