I have been taking cholestyramine powder for about 6 months and if you take it you know it is not pleasant. It does not dissolve in liquid and if not mixed up vigorously you are swallowing lumps of orange powder. If there is anyone out there who takes it and has found a halfway bearable way of taking it I would greatly appreciate any advice. It helps so well for me but I want to puke everytime I drink it. I was just wondering does anyone experience body aches and fatigue with IBS? Last night after I went to sleep I started having body aches and was like NO!! I can.t get sick... I did have a flare up yesterday and it when on all day and apparently through the night with the aches and then this morning too. I've been on a light diet since yesterday. Just curious if body aches is normal. I feel so sleepy and run down

I’d like to see public establishments post a sticker on their door indicating that people with IBS - or any other elimination disorder, bladder or bowel - are welcome to use their restroom. I hate to see the “patrons only”’sign when I have an emergent need.

It's come about over the last few months where my fingers are swollen and the joints sore mainly on my right hand. Also it seems to be affecting my shoulder and neck. For many years I've had lower back issues and sciatica.

If you eat something that ur bowel don't agree with how quickly do u all get a flare ? And can anyone eat steak I had steak last night and within a hour I was glued to toilet but it takes the body 6hrs to digest food into bowel ?
