I am definitely new at trying to gain control or at least achieve functionality with IBS-C and am looking for a sendible plan of what to eat and what to avoid. My recent visit with my gastro resulted in me needing more medication and a gluten free diet.
Update. Adding gluten back has made everything worse. Stomach and intestines hurt. Very gassy and bloated
Hi, I am new here. I have had what I believe is IBS-D for many years. About 15 years ago I saw a GI doc, had a colonscopy, and was told to just take a fiber supplement. The fiber supplement made me much worse. Last year I was tested for Celiac and the test was negative. I have also tried a gluten free diet without success. Also had a test for my pancreas and that is normal as well
I am seeing a different GI doctor now and am scheduled for Colonscopy soon. He thinks my issue is likely IBS… read more

So I have decided I am sick of the stomach pain, nausea, throwing up, and the other end issues. With no help from the dr’s. I finally am going to start giving up gluten and see if that helps eat a little better, and cleaner. More veggies that kind of stuff. Is there anything that others have tried that has helped, vitamins giving up certain things? Any help or incite would be very appreciated.. thank you

Ive been told to eat bread and pasta every day for 6 weeks - only ten days to go? Has anyone else been through this for gluten intolerance? Symptoms are upset stomach, bloating, horrendous wind, tiredness amongst other symptoms.
I have gone to the gluten test and also no dairy for me. Try to eat with constant new triggers make me very frustrated.
